FROM THE SOUTH via ROUTE 146
|
|
Proceed North until you get to the fork in the highway at which
Route 146 bears to the left "TO WORCESTER" and Route 146A
bears to the right "TO WOONSOCKET". Bear to the right.
Proceed to the second set of traffic lights, bear RIGHT onto Park Avenue.
(Just beyond Burger King, Mcdonald's and the Candy Shack)
Proceed to the traffic light at Logee Street, half-way down the hill
(about 9/10ths of a mile from the start of Park Ave..)
Turn RIGHT onto Logee, go 2/3rds of a mile.
Rink is on the left, half-way down the steep hill.
Please note: There is an AED available at the entrance to the Arena.

Take Route 95 South into Rhode Island and proceed to Route 117, West.
( About 17 miles from the State line. )
The 7th or 8th traffic light, heading West, will be New London Avenue.

95 South to exit 29, go through the first Stop sign, take a right at next stop sign. At the first set of lights take a right. Go through 3 sets of lights and take your next right onto Dexter Street. Follow a 1/4 mile to the rink. It is set back off the road.

From the South

95 North to exit 28 (School Street exit) take a left and go through first lightinto city. Take a right at next light go up hill and stay to the left. At the next light take a left and just before the next light bear right onto Dexter Street. The rink is a 1/4 mile down on the right (it is set back off the road).

FROM THE SOUTH via ROUTE 146
|
|
Follow the Route 146 signs "TO WORCESTER" up to the "Slatersville/Forestdale" exit, which is still in Rhode Island.
Go to the end of the ramp, turn to the RIGHT. Go to the end of that road (a couple of hundred feet). Turn LEFT onto Route 146A. Proceed to the traffic light where Route 102 begins (by going straight through the intersection); Route 146A turns to the right; Slatersville Plaza is in the far left corner; and a convenience store is in the far right corner. CONTINUE STRAIGHT THROUGH THE LIGHT ONTO ROUTE 102. Go to the 3rd(?) traffic light, East Avenue/Route 107 (4.4 miles), turn RIGHT.
When the road curves sharply to the left and starts downhill, Burrillville
High School's driveway is about 3/4's of the way down the hill on the left.
Go up the driveway, then to the left of the traffic rotary into the large
parking lot there. The rink is all the way behind the school complex.

Hockey Directions/146 Arena
|
|
From Rte 295N or 295S take the exit for Rte 146N. After getting on 146N, look for the third lane for exiting. This lane begins shortly after Majestic Honda. The RI Sports Center is on your left. Exit from 146N and proceed down the driveway.
From 95, take 146N. Follow the directions above once you go under the 295 overpass.
If you hit the stoplight, then you have gone too far and must make u-turn back onto 146S. This is not good. You must then follow 146S to Rte 116 at which point you can get off and get back onto Rte146N to try for the rink again.

Head South West. (That's the first exit ramp on the right as you
approach the 295 cloverleaf.) Proceed to Exit 7B, Route 44, West.
Go to the 3rd set of lights, which should be Route 5. Turn RIGHT
and head North on Route 5. Rink is 1.2 miles up the road, on the right.
(Just beyond where Route 116 joins and overlaps Route 5, from the left.)

Merge left onto Route 295 and proceed to Exit 7, Route 44, West.
Go to the 3rd set of lights, which should be Route 5. Turn RIGHT
and head North on Route 5. Rink is 1.2 miles up the road, on the right.
(Just beyond where Route 116 joins and overlaps Route 5, from the left.)

From Route 95
|
|
Take Exit 12 East (Route 113). This will exit you onto East Avenue/Main Avenue. You will stay on Route 113 (Main Avenue) all the way to the end where it will merge with West Shore Road (Route 117). Take a left onto West Shore Road. About a 1/2 mile up you will come to the intersection of Sandy Lane, Strawberry Field Road, and West Shore Road. This is referred to as Wildes Corner. Bear to the left onto Sandy Lane. The rink is just ahead on the left. The Warburton Ice Rink, McDermott Pool, and several baseball/soccer fields are also on the adjoining property. This is the Mickey Stevens Athletic Complex.
